Our kaiako are all qualified and registered, they are a part of our team because they are passionate, dedicated and strive to achieve the best outcomes for ākonga. Our kaiako in the nursery and preschool strives to ensure that our whole extended team work as one big whānau. We value the individual strengths of our kaiako and how they implement these on a daily basis to uphold our local curriculum values – Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga, Taha Hinengaro, Kaitiakitanga and Ūkaipōtanga.

Tonia and Murray are the owners and actively contribute to the daily running of James Street, our Centre Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and is supported by a Nursery Team Leader and centre-wide Curriculum Leader.

Thank you for nurturing our gorgeous wee boy Sebby. He will always remember your love and kindness as well as challenging his inquisitive mind. He tells me he has had a great time at preschool and lately enjoying Moa group. Tom and I will miss chatting with all the preschool teachers and hearing about Sebbys day. We love to hear everything that Rupert has been experiencing at nursery and how he is developing. We get to see a lot of this time at home of course but it is great to know what he is doing in his own wee world so we can keep encouraging the sparks you ignite for him.
